- Perform regular maintenance and inspections on machinery and equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues to identify root causes
- Repair or replace faulty components and parts
- Install, align, and set up new machinery
- Follow safety regulations and guidelines at all times
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
- Collaborate with other team members to optimize production processes
- Experience with Cut-to-Length Processing Lines: You'll be working on a machine that cuts materials to specific lengths.
- Knowledge of Siemens S7 PLCs: You should be familiar with a type of industrial computer system (PLC) commonly used in factories, specifically the Siemens S7 model.
- Steel Industry Background (Preferred): While not mandatory, experience working with steel would be a plus.
- 5+ Years of Experience: We're looking for someone with a solid track record in this field.
- Millwright Trade Certificate: You'll need a formal qualification showing your competency in installing and maintaining machinery.
- Comprehensive understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics
- Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Meticulous attention to detail and precision
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a team setting
- Adaptable to rotating shifts, if necessary
