    Cecile Personnel (Pty) Ltd is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Voluntary Legal Internship – Intellectual Property Law. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a specialized legal field, working closely with experienced IP attorneys.

    About the Role
    This internship provides a unique chance for students or individuals passionate about Intellectual Property Law to develop their skills and knowledge. Key responsibilities include conducting trademark searches, analyzing search results, assisting with trademark filings and prosecution, drafting and preparing legal documents related to IP matters, monitoring trademark portfolios, and updating databases. Additionally, the intern will support attorneys with case research and legal reports, attend virtual or in-person meetings when required, and work towards developing a strong foundation in IP law for future career growth.

    Requirements
    To be eligible for this internship, applicants must currently be a third-year LLB student or higher, demonstrate a genuine passion for Intellectual Property Law, possess strong research and analytical skills, and exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills. Furthermore, candidates should own a laptop and have a reliable internet connection for remote work.
