    Key Role

    To function in a Design Team as a civil designer working on Global Project Delivery (international workshare projects in the infrastructure sector).

    Key Responsibilities

    • Civil Design and Modelling:
    • Able to perform AutoCAD Civil 3D design and modelling of wet utilities (sewer, water, stormwater) – Bulk services and on-site services.
    • Dry utilities – Bulk services and on-site services.
    • Corridor modelling, including intersections, roundabouts and interchanges. Rail corridor modelling will be a plus.

    Health and Safety

    • Role model standards for SHEQ performance and behaviour consistent with the company's health, safety, environmental and quality vision, and policies by influencing those around you.
    • Contributing to the identification of SHEQ risks and driving processes to achieve Zero Harm.
    • Embracing, displaying, and promoting the company values and ensuring a safe working environment is maintained at all times.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications and Experience Required

    • Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognised tertiary institution.
    • Minimum 3 years' relevant experience in design of roads and civil services infrastructure.
    • Highly competent with civil engineering design using Autodesk Civil 3D software.
    • Registration with ECSA as a Candidate or Professional Engineer.

    Key Competencies and Generic Skills

    • As per Key Responsibilities above.
    • Self-training ability, with an affinity to learn new design technologies.
