Skills and Experience:
- Must speak, read, and write Portuguese
- Non Negotiable
- Experience in health insurance and claims processing will be beneficial.
- Experience within healthcare administration and service provision within local or international private medical insurance will be beneficial.
- A high degree of attention to detail ensuring that existing and new policies are maintained accurately and in accordance with the prescribed product requirements.
- Computer literacy
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software packages and in particular, Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Analytical and logical thinking.
- Able to work under pressure
- Good Communication skills both in Portuguese and English to understand and provide feedback to various stakeholders including clients, partners and management
- Underwriting experience would be an advantage
- Able to work independently within required service level agreements and deadlines

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyzing Proposals prior to activation
- Activate Group and Individual Policies based on proposal
- Schedule meeting with Clients prior to Group activations
- Ensure all necessary KYC documents are received prior to activation
- Communicate directly with clients and Lead Insurers
- Assist in client relation meetings
- Process day to day Membership movement as per clients' requests
- Weekly follow up on Pending renewals
- Send out all Monthly Outpatient Payrolls
- Ensure members utilizations are sent out monthly
- Ensure all invoices are requested from specific Lead Insurers
- Manage Quarterly Policies, and ensure all up to date
- Prepare Monthly renewals
- Prepare and issue Renewal letters,
- Resolve all client and admin queries
- Ensure that all Outpatient Benefits are loaded correctly on Inhouse system
- Process development and improvement:
- Assist finance in account queries.
- Liaison with partners including brokers and in country partners.
- Overseeing and reviewing work performed by fellow staff.
- Constantly streamlining and improving processes, protocols and practices within the membership and claims processing environment.
