The Logistics Manager is responsible for the effective day-to-day management of the NTT Supply Chain Services Limited ("SCS") logistics operational team & logistics advisory function.

The role is a management position within the business and oversees the planning and controls the flow of products (goods) and services and related systems information from point of origin to point of delivery.

Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to supply chain services, compliance, import-export licensing, shipping/receiving activities and client advisory services with regard to cross-border deal construct and advice with regard to exporting and importing and related obligations.

Support the selling of logistics services, identification of opportunities and implementation of commercially approved deals.

Develops and implements logistics plans, budgets and procedures to maximize compliance with customer needs within budget constraints and regulations. Interacts with vendors and peers in Sales, Finance, Tax and Commercial to optimize systems and procedures.

Selects, develops, manages and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Ensure that processes are integrated and executed in a coordinated way to ensure contract and SLA adherence.
Work with internal stakeholders to execute the strategy and set team priorities by providing direction.
Manage and coordinate the activities and initiatives that ensure the full utilization of resources.
Coach, mentor, manage and develop individuals in the team.
Recommend improvements to all aspects of the logistics and supply chain function by analysing and reviewing current trends, methodology and processes.
Maintain a 'friendly' and professional relationship with vendors while promoting company initiatives and values.
Provide support in the planning and implementation of logistics and supply chain optimization projects.
Ensures the logistics functions are optimally resourced and enabled throughout the process.
Coordinates initiatives to ensure compliance and adherence to SLAs and overall customer excellence.
Participates in negotiation with 3PL's, suppliers/vendors to receive the best possible price for products and services.
Accurately identify risks affecting supply, transformation, compliance, delivery, and customer demand.
Accurate and efficient management of the Logistics Operations functions, covering the internal Logistics Processes specific to the commercial model applicable to the shipment.
Effective management of 3PL Suppliers & Carriers, overseeing and tailoring SOP's, QBR's and Escalation Support to ensure smooth and consistent service levels are maintained.
Successful Seller and Opportunity identification to secure increased deals, projects and revenue for the business unit.
The ability to manage and successfully drive the fulfilment of large, global deals for Multinational Clients (MNC's) in the Technology industry on a global supply chain spectrum.
Consistent and accurate compliance management on all orders, across a global supply chain spectrum (multigeographies).
Managing the daytoday enhancement and improvements of our internal Order Management platform (TRACK) to ensure the system functions optimally, supporting operations.
Successfully making business decisions that both ensure meeting client's needs whilst ensuring protection and financial risk to the business is minimised.
Active participation in the management, direction and strategy of the SCS business
