    This position is based in either Johannesburg or Cape Town.

    Primary Purpose:

    To fill an administrative financial operations role in the booking process, supporting the Travel Designers, UK Operations team and responsible for supplier payments for each booking. Ensure all services booked are paid accurately, efficiently, timeously, and with zero errors.

    Candidate Requirements:

    • Matric certificate with mathematics (minimum standard grade or above)
    • Tertiary certificate in Travel & Tourism/Hospitality
    • 4-5 years experience in an Operations/Administration role within the Travel Industry
    • Experience in handling customer relationships and developing/promoting products/services in the inbound Travel Industry
    • Computer Literate (Microsoft Office, Email, Teams, Internet browsers)
    • Proven English literacy
    • Working knowledge of TourPlan and WISH or similar booking/operating system
    • General product knowledge on Southern and East Africa
    • Personal or educational travel experience advantageous
    • Excellent communication skills in English (written and oral)
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data capturing
    • Foreign language skills advantageous
    • A passion for wildlife and a commitment to sustainability and conservation

    Responsibilities:

    • Liaise with Travel Designers, UK Operations Team and suppliers on all bookings in an operational and financial capacity
    • Communicate continuously with suppliers and internal sales and operations support teams to build trust and provide excellent support to the UK Teams
    • Keep all booking information updated in the system ensuring CRM is continually up to date
    • Keep updated with all company and associated product updates, as well as technology updates
    • Attend all company and associated product training on a weekly basis, facilitating exceeding expectations and accuracy in the booking process
    • Keep abreast with company policies, procedures, and system updates

    Location:

    Gauteng or Cape Town

    Estimated Salary:

    $60,000 - $80,000 per annum
