Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Paint Line Manager (Robotics) to join the Durban team- Overall responsibility for the daily management of all labor resources within the Paint Plant
- Accountable for specified quantity, quality, and cost of production with material specifications and labour standards
- Responsible for all activities and processes within the paint plant
- Ensure scheduled maintenance is adhered to on all facilities and equipment.
- Identify and manage cost reductions and production efficiencies.
- Ensure work force training needs are identified and implemented
- Attend daily feedback sessions and management meetings
- Ensure customer and internal objectives are achieved and maintained.
- Ensure that all quality and environmental procedures are adhered to
- Work within agreed deadlines and targets as required.
- Structure and Implement plant policies, procedures, work instructions and practices to drive optimal efficiencies.
Requirements:
- Grade 1
- Relevant qualification in Engineering / Production / Quality
- Minimum 10 years' experience in a manufacturing / automotive paint industry
- Management / supervisory experience
- Automotive best practice knowledge
