Description

Seasoned Engineering Project Manager sought for Electronic Engineering industry. Responsible for project management, guidance, and decision-making on major issues related to execution and delivery.

Key responsibilities include creating project work plans, managing resources, and monitoring schedule and cost. Must have 4 years experience in Electronic Engineering Development and 4 years experience in Project Management.

Attributes and skills required include financial management, communication, technical understanding, leadership, teamwork, and client management.

Experience with Agile project management Scrum methodologies and Project Management Certification from a recognized institution/association is also required.

Additional attributes include technical understanding in electronic communications, gas detection development, or collision avoidance, and exposure to Prince and PMBOK methodologies.

Leadership skills include challenging others to meet targets, managing team development, and inspiring excellence. Teamwork skills include acknowledging and appreciating team member contributions and utilizing each team member to their fullest potential.

Client management skills include working with team and functional managers to ensure timely and appropriate communication with customers.

Responsibilities:

• Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing requirements;


• Manages resources in conjunction with functional managers, production and sub-contractors;


• Manages day-to-day operational aspects of project and scope;


• Effectively manages project risk through mitigation planning;


• Monitors and reports on schedule and cost, margins and profitability;


• Effectively applies Project Management methodology;


• Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures;


• Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
