    Role Overview

    We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our team, focusing on strategic insights for the youth services sector. This role requires expertise in data systems development and management, as well as analysis of youth and beneficiary data.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Data systems development and management, including adapting and refining information systems and tools for data collection and management.
    • Data analysis for both youth and beneficiary data, including identifying problems and potential solutions.
    • Building capacity of partners and the admin team to support data needs of the organization.
    • Packaging data for presentations and decision-making.
    • Communications with stakeholders (internal and external) on data gathering, systems, and analysis of data.

    Requirements

    • An appropriate 3-year National Diploma/B-Degree in Strategy Development, Management, Data Systems Development, or Data Analysis.
    • A minimum of 1 year experience in the data field.
    • Masters degree in Information Systems, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance; Experience in the after-school sector, research, and knowledge management; A valid Code B or higher driving license.

    • Quantitative and qualitative analytical capability.
    • Ability to interpret and present complex data and statistics for a non-technical audience.
    • Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds.
    • Organising and executing skills.

    • Written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proven computer literacy.
    • Programming and API development skills.

    Remuneration

    R 250,000 per annum (Salary level 7), plus an annual bonus equivalent to 10% of the base salary, in lieu of benefits.
