    Senior Manager Talent Acquisition

    M-KOPA is seeking a seasoned Senior Manager Talent Acquisition to drive our growth and expansion across Africa, the UK, and Europe. As a key member of our market-based team, you will lead recruitment efforts that align with our mission of making a difference in communities worldwide.

    Our products provide smartphones for education and digital loans for businesses, impacting over 23 million lives. Your role will be to attract passionate individuals who share our mission and values. With 80% of customers reporting improved quality of life through M-KOPA products, your talent acquisition efforts will directly contribute to expanding financial inclusion.

    About This Role

    • This is a hybrid role that offers flexibility and work-life balance, collaborating with talented colleagues from diverse locations while maintaining access to office facilities.

    • You will drive efficient recruitment processes aligned with our goals and values, leading a strong TA team to deliver local and global solutions and projects.

    • We are looking for a proactive, seasoned TA leader with experience managing candidate experience in high volume environments, scaling consistency and hiring manager accountability across locations in Africa.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead recruitment strategies that drive M-KOPA's continued growth and success, ensuring alignment with our social impact and environmental responsibility goals.

    • Develop and implement innovative recruitment processes, refining core expertise in operational skill sets such as smartphone/FMCG distribution, warehouse operations, frontline sales, and stock control.

    • Collaborate with various levels of management and diverse teams to effectively manage stakeholders, building strong relationships and driving results.

    • Foster a resilient, innovative team through coaching partnerships, on-the-job training, and development programs that empower our people to own their careers.

    Requirements

    • Extensive recruitment experience with a strong track record of successful delivery demonstrated across various types of roles and industries.

    • Stakeholder management skills to effectively collaborate with various levels of management and diverse teams.

    • Innovative thinking and leadership abilities to refine recruitment processes and implement strategic plans.

    • Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a growth mindset and passion for continuous improvement and learning.

    • Previous recruitment agency success is highly desirable.

    • Experience managing a small team while remaining hands-on.
