Exciting Senior Management Role at a UK Investor Club.

A Position has opened for an experienced project manager/business manager to manage the day-to-day affairs of a large private equity investor club.

The club offers its members the opportunity to invest small sums of money in promising startup companies that have the potential to disrupt their respective industries.

The role of General Manager requires an energetic, dynamic and analytical individual with proven experience in successfully managing various functions in a business.

The role includes, but is not limited to:

• Screening of company investment targets
• Overseeing sales team managed by sales team manager
• Drive new membership through a variety of initiatives that include engagement with 3rd party marketers, in-house social media strategies, coordinating with SEO experts, sales oversight.
• Devise and implement existing member engagement through a number of initiatives including new product/benefit development (for existing members), enhanced member communication & engagement, client services, etc.

The club structure is unique and has a loyal core following.

The role requires an ambitious and proven individual that can build on the successes achieved over the last few years.

Core skills by any successful applicant would include:

• Proven Management experience
• A solid understand and experience in PR, Sales & Online marketing
• Ability to work across various disciplines that includes operations, marketing, sales, finance, etc.
• Experience in Financial Services / Capital Markets

Salary:
R50, R70,000.00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

• Pretoria, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

• Bachelors (required)

Experience:

- management: 10 years (required)

- financial services/capital markets: 5 years (preferred)
