Store Supervisor Job Duties

A store supervisor typically has a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:
Managing employee performance through coaching, counseling, and termination when needed
Supervising and training employees to ensure that they are providing excellent customer service and upholding company standards
Establishing and enforcing policies and procedures for store operations such as staffing levels, floor plans, pricing, policies, and procedures
Ensuring that all merchandise is properly stocked and maintained in accordance with company standards
Training new employees on store policies, procedures, and operational practices
Keeping records of store inventory, including incoming and outgoing shipments
Conducting regular inventory checks of all products to ensure that store shelves are fully stocked at all times
