    Description
    ROLE PURPOSE
    To implement and manage an integrated Facilities Management solution for Clients within the region of responsibility in accordance with the Service Level Agreement (SLA).

    MAIN OUTPUTS
    1. Drive integrated Facilities Management (FM) services and strategy for the Client.
    2. Ensure delivery of efficient FM service as outlined in the Service Level Agreement (SLA).
    3. Implement an effective Health, Safety, Environment, Quality & Risk Management system in conjunction with the Contracts Manager, and according to Client needs.
    4. Conduct daily audits on FM services rendered and ensure that prescribed work quality and standards are sustained.
    5. Ensure timely sign-off and variance explanations on Profit and Loss statements.
    6. Identify gaps and deficiencies in services, advise and effect solutions as part of Continuous Improvement on FM services rendered.
    7. Manage back-to-back Service Level Agreement agreements with suppliers and contractors.
    8. Monitor service providers' (contractors') performance and effect corrective action on any deviations to the Service Level Agreement.
    9. Assist in the management of FM projects and provide technical support, where applicable.
    10. Demonstrate and instill effective adherence to processes on infrastructure maintenance.
    11. Explore and recommend innovative methods, based on best practices, in order to bring about cost-effective solutions.
    12. Ensure timely processing of invoices.
    13. Provide monthly reports and feedback on continued compliance to the Service Level Agreement.
    14. Build strategic relationships both internally and externally.
    15. Manage staff performance and facilitate improvement through regular monitoring of performance and providing required coaching, support, and feedback.
    16. Manage performance and conflicts within subordinate employees and effect corrective actions, in line with company policies/procedures.
    17. Ensure adequate staff placement, i.e., prepare suitable shift rosters where applicable and manage/approve applicable leave for subordinate employees.
    18. Responsible for training, coaching, mentoring, and development of subordinate employees.
    QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS / KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

    The Applicant must meet the following requirements:

    1. National Diploma/Degree: Facilities Management, Property Management, Project Management, Operations Management or related FM formal qualification.
    2. Matric (Senior Certificate).
    3. Valid South African Driver's License.
    4. Eight years' relevant experience in Facilities Management, Customer Relationship Management, Property Management, and Financial Management.
    5. Facilities Management, Customer Relationship Management, Property Management, and Financial Management.
    6. MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, and MS Outlook (Intermediate skill level), SAP knowledge.
    7. Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act, ISO 9001 Quality Management, Risk Management Systems, Property Law, and Contractual Law.
