Job Summary:
We are seeking ambitious young graduates to join our local travel agency as Payments Associates.

As part of our dedicated team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless payment processes and financial transactions within our agency.

Responsibilities:

Process and reconcile payments received from clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Manage and maintain financial records of transactions, including invoices, receipts, and payment confirmations.
Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments, liaising with clients and resolving any payment discrepancies or issues.
Collaborate with the finance department to ensure proper allocation of payments and adherence to accounting procedures.
Handle refund requests and process reimbursements, adhering to company policies and guidelines.
Utilize payment platforms and software to facilitate transactions, ensuring data security and compliance.
Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing payment-related inquiries and resolving any payment-related issues.
Stay updated on payment industry trends, regulations, and best practices, implementing necessary changes or improvements.
Assist in the development and implementation of payment-related processes and procedures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and customer service, to streamline payment processes and enhance the overall customer experience.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Previous experience or internships in payments processing, accounting, finance, or customer service roles is preferred.
Solid understanding of payment processing principles, practices, and industry standards.
Proficiency in using payment platforms, financial software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in processing payments and financial data.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team and engage with clients.
Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving payment-related issues.
Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Strong ethics and integrity when handling sensitive financial information.
