Organisational Development Specialist

Requirements:


  • A minimum of a B Degree with a focus in social sciences, preferably
in behavioural sciences.

  • Up to 5 years' relevant experience in leadership
development/organisational development.

Key Performance Areas

  • Supporting the implementation of the City's leadership
development framework in support of the People Strategy.

  • Using a range of assessment tools to accurately diagnose and
assess leaderships needs across all levels of leadership.

  • Researching appropriate development, enablement and
engagement opportunities to build leadership competencies and

capabilities.

  • Supports the Senior OD Consultant in the identification and
development of structured development interventions for different

levels of leadership based on intervention feedback and assessment

tools.

  • Providing professional consultation and insights into the
development of team enablement interventions to create and

facilitate collaborative team and leadership behaviours and

effective service delivery.

  • Collaborating across Organisational Development and other key
stakeholders to identify future leaders using mechanisms such as

succession planning and developing appropriate interventions

designed to address leadership development needs.

  • Drawing and presenting statistical information pertaining to
organisational health and proposing specific remedial measures

aimed at improving productivity and developing high performing,

collaborative leadership and teams at all levels of the City.

  • Collaborating with various stakeholders to assist in the identification
of team development and enablement needs, designing

interventions to address these needs and monitoring and evaluating

the success of these interventions.
