    As the Area Marketing Manager for Belmond, you will play a crucial role in keeping projects on track and executed in a timely and exceptional manner for the portfolio in Southern Africa.

    You will support the Area Director of Marketing to implement master marketing plans per property and ensure brand consistency across all marketing and social media communications.

    Primary Responsibilities Include:

    1. Create New or Updated Brand Collateral: Ensure the creation of new or updated brand collateral for all properties in the Area.
    2. Support Photo and Video Shootings: Assist with the productions of all photo & video shootings and responsible for image libraries.
    3. Manage Property Websites: Ensure properties websites are updated with relevant and current information, monitor performance and suggest actions to enhance visibility and improve conversions.
    4. Develop Content Ideas: Provide content and ideas for direct and electronic mailings, both to consumers and travel trade.
    5. Maintain Communication: Maintain and build regular communication with colleagues in the field, including General Managers, PR Managers and relevant operational teams (ie. Purchasing, Finance), to support the overall business strategies.
    6. Collaborate with Sales and Groups Departments: Cooperate with the Sales, Groups other departments brainstorming and aligning on projects.
    7. Prepare Flyers and Collateral: Prepare all flyers and collateral as required for the Sales and Marketing Department.
    8. Ensure Brand Consistency: Ensure brand consistency in marketing and social media messages.
    9. Manage Social Media Content: Manage the content for the Social Media channels and the property's website ensuring it they are updated at all times and fully reflect the activities and products available at the property.
    10. Build Strategic Relationships: Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies and vendors.
    11. Measure Campaign Performance: Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals.
    12. Execute Marketing Tactics: Execute marketing tactics, partnerships, programming and activations supporting the hotel.
    13. Develop Content Strategy: Create a content strategy for the website, social media platforms & email communications.
    14. Plan and Communicate Marketing Plans: Plan and communicate marketing plans and activities with operators.
    15. Support PR, Social Media, and Digital Media: Support PR, social media and digital media tactics.

    What You Bring:

    1. A Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field is preferred.
    2. 4-6 years management experience within the Marketing field.
    3. Extensive knowledge of marketing strategies, channels, and branding.
    4. Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
    5. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
    6. Knowledge of strategic communications and marketing concepts, principles, and techniques.
    7. Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
    8. Knowledge on the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in graphic design, web design, production, etc.
    9. Expertise in digital marketing and organic and paid digital strategies.
