Role Purpose/Business Unit:


Your responsibilities will include:


  • To ensure that all network elements are monitored on a 24/7 basis.
  • Monitor, analyze, and drive resolution of incidents according to Fault Handling and Escalation Procedures.
  • Communicate service disruptions to relevant stakeholders timeously
  • Conduct proactive intervention including routine tests
  • Manage and compile reports
  • Perform call flow traces to isolate failure causes
  • Participate in department projects
  • Provide support to mobile access network and transport.

Must have technical/professional qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with 2 years experience in Telecommunications / IT or relevant courses with 2 years experience
  • Previous experience working in a Network Operations Centre is highly preferred
  • Experienced with Incident and Problem Management practices and processes.
