Qualification

Bcom or BTech in Accounting/Taxation/Auditing or equivalent

Honours in Accounting/Taxation/Auditing or equivalent (will be advantageous)


Critical skills and knowledge

• At least intermediate working knowledge of Word and Excel.

• Able to commit and sign a 3year SAIPA contract
• Valid driver's license will be advantageous

Duties & Responsibilities

• Statutory tax returns calculation and submission (VAT, EMP and, CIT and PIT)
• Tax registrations (PIT, VAT, EMP)
• Filing provisional and income tax returns for Individuals and Companies
• Assist with SARS audits/review, disputes and debt collection matters
• Other Tax and SARS related duties
• Payroll processing and pay slip preparation (on SageOne Payroll + Sage 300 People)
• Assist with Department of labour compliance matters (UIF and Compensation Fund)
• Bookkeeping to Trail Balance (Sage Accounting Partner)
• Preparation of Management Accounts and Financial Statements
• Liaise with all the relevant stakeholders in the company.
• General Administration duties
• Other related duties
