    Senior Applications Specialist

    {company} is undertaking a significant project to upgrade legacy financial systems, consolidate data, and implement new data analysis and reporting technologies through the PT Data Warehouse.

    The Senior Applications Specialist will play a key role in this project by designing, implementing, and optimizing the Data Warehouse, ensuring integration with various data sources.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Data Warehouse Design and Implementation: Ensure seamless integration of the Data Warehouse with multiple data sources, fostering a cohesive data ecosystem.
    • Business Intelligence Solutions: Develop and implement Business Intelligence (BI) solutions that empower data-driven decision-making within {company}, enabling informed strategic planning.
    • Legacy System Upgrades: Lead efforts to upgrade legacy financial systems, guaranteeing a smooth transition of data into the new Data Warehouse.
    • Cloud-Based Solutions: Contribute to transitioning the data warehouse to cloud-based solutions for improved scalability, accessibility, and security.
    • Data Analysis & Visualization: Implement and maintain data visualization tools and reporting systems, allowing users to generate self-service reports.
    • Servicing End-Users: Empower end-users with tools for self-service reporting, reducing dependency on IT teams for ad-hoc reports.
    • Data Security & Compliance: Ensure adherence to stringent data security and compliance measures, particularly when transitioning to the cloud.
    • Collaboration: Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless data integration and successful implementation of cloud technologies.

    Requirements

    Required Qualifications & Skills:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    Experience:
    • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in Data Warehousing, BI, and Business Analytics.
    • Proven experience in upgrading legacy systems and consolidating data.
    • Strong experience with cloud-based technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.).
    • Expertise in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.) and self-service reporting.
    Skills:
    • Deep understanding of data warehousing methodologies and data modeling.
    • In-depth knowledge of financial systems and their integration.
    • Proficient in data visualization, reporting tools, and business analysis techniques.
    • Familiarity with cloud architecture and modern data technologies.
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
    Desired Skills:
    • Experience with cloud-based Data Warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Google BigQuery, AWS Redshift).
    • Familiarity with financial systems (IFMS, SAP, Oracle Financials, etc.).
