    Job Purpose:

    Design and develop software applications using computer languages and development tools.

    Main Responsibilities:

    1. Create Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD), Data Flow Diagrams (DFD), and Functional Design Diagrams (FDD).
    2. Develop and maintain systems applications, ensuring effective program version control.
    3. Provide support for existing applications, including purchased packages.
    4. Train users on application systems and processes.
    5. Maintain user understanding of application systems and procedures.
    6. Implement Quality Assurance standards in application development.

    Requirements:

    To be successful in this role, you will need:

    1. A Diploma or equivalent in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) with a National Qualifications Framework (NQF) level 6 qualification.
    2. A valid driver's license.
    3. At least 3 years of relevant experience.
    4. Strong computer literacy skills.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    The following qualifications would be beneficial:

    1. A Degree or equivalent in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) with a National Qualifications Framework (NQF) level 7 qualification.
    2. 4 Years of relevant experience.
