Minimum Requirements:


Qualification

  • Diploma in Marketing or Public Relations
  • Degree in Marketing

Experience

  • A minimum of three fulltime experience in the field of Marketing and Communications

Knowledge

  • Wellversed in planning and executing a content plan based on the marketing strategy
  • Structured and proficient in project management to initiate, plan, execute and report on projects
  • Proficient in managing Social Media accounts and extracting and analysing reports
  • Basic knowledge to plan, develop and deliver short content videos

Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word
  • PPT and Excel
  • Proficient in Photoshop and Camtasia, Adobe Suite and/or Powtoon (or similar video editing software)
  • Proficient in Canva.
  • Proficient in writing for and managing social media accounts and extracting and analysing reports
  • Basic understanding of Google Analytics reporting for websites
  • Disciplined and structured to follow through and execute monthly administrative responsibilities
  • Organisation and project management skills to plan and execute events

Duties & Responsibilities:


Provides Administrative Support to Marketing and Branding team leads and manages certain administrative functions for the department

  • Manage the timeous bookings, administration and payments for events, sponsorships, conferences and advertisements initiated by our department
  • Assist the clothing and promotional items administrator by taking photos and cropping them for use on the eStore website
  • Monitor the Marketing Inbox and respond to web inquiries. Create sales leads in Acumatica and assign them to the relevant business developers. Distribute other general enquiries to relevant stakeholders
  • Responsible for taking staff profile photos

Coordinate and execute Internal Communications

  • Assist internal stakeholders with the design and distribution of internal communication messages on request
  • Manage the internal communication calendar and schedule the Friday Communication sessions
  • Download recordings and publish it on the JunXion and send out post event communication
  • Monitor the Communications Inbox for ad hoc requests or inquiries

Assist with the planning and production of suitable content and the timely execution of the Content Plan

  • Develop planned content a month in advance and get it signed off by the relevant stakeholders and the language editor before publishing it
  • Research and harvest applicable external content to repurpose for Pragma thought leadership messaging on Pragma's online channels on a monthly basis
  • Assist with the planning, production, promotion and hosting of webinars
  • Compile video snips and content to promote the video recordings postevent

Maintain and update online marketing and social media platforms, engage with communities, compile reports and make recommendations on improvements

  • Assist the Marketing Lead in updating the websites with relevant content. Ensure that home pages are updated with the latest news, case studies, and relevant content
  • Manage social media posts in line with preplanned and approved conversation plans and alert relevant thought leaders to respond on comments when required
  • Ensure that scheduled content is placed on the social media platforms by 10:00 in the mornings
  • Distribute approved articles to paid platforms such as Engineering News and Mining Weekly and ensure that they link back to the relevant websites

Assist with the development and management of marketing and brand material

  • Assist the Marketing Manager and internal departments with the development of signage, icons and other brand collateral and save it in the correct spaces
  • Manage the marketing collateral register by doing an annual audit on the items and update it when new items are added
  • Manage the quarterly servicing of the Pragma flags at the Midrand office
  • Manage ad hoc requests for the ordering and distribution and payment of business cards and name badges

Assist the Marketing Lead with the development and execution of online and physical events
