Job Purpose


To develop, mature and provide digital delivery, problem solving, digitization and automation capabilities which will drive and enable NCIB's strategic digital transformation goals.


Responsibilities:


  • Be the custodian of the overall NCIB digital strategy
  • Taking accountability for collaborative definition, collating and ongoing development of the NCIB digital strategy with key CIB stakeholders
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders across the CIB and Business Banking environment to drive digital transformation and innovation
  • Developing and implementing clear and practical metrics for measuring digital transformation goals and progress towards achieving the goals
  • Contribute to the creation of a highperformance digital culture in NCIB, including structures and methods for developing and coaching teams, enable a client centric and continuous improvement culture in NCIB
  • Identify and collaboratively execute on strategic, tactical and operation opportunities to improve NCIB business effectiveness and efficiencies through digital capabilities
  • Lead, develop and drive continued maturity of the following digital capabilities teams


  • Digital Consulting

  • Multidisciplined team responsible for solving endtoend complex digital business problems, including problem definition, global insights, quantitative and qualitive analysis, alternatives and implications, implementation recommendations and a business case


  • Digitisation and Automation

  • Multidisciplined team responsible for optimising performance of business processes and operation through automation and digital solutions in line with the overall Nedbank business strategy and relevant strategic imperatives


  • Agile Project Management

  • Team of mature Agile Project Managers that enable and support the Scaled Agile cultural change and adoption in Juristic agile domain squads, and facilitating agile domain squad events and processes to support delivery of value.


  • Business Analysis

  • Team of mature Agile Business Analysis that enables best practice service delivery by ensuring client needs are accurately articulated, captured, delivered in Juristic agile domain squads
  • Manage capability teams effectively and efficiently across the HR value chain including recruitment, performance management, retention of critical staff, succession planning, coaching and talent management
  • Manage performance of direct reports
  • Establish and manage relevant governance and compliance structures so that relevant risks & issues are appropriately monitored, managed and mitigated across sales and service enablement
  • Challenging the status quo with a view to improving the environment or people's understanding


  • Essential Qualifications

  • NQF Level
  • Relevant businessrelated professional Qualification/Honours Degree e.g. Computer Science Finance, Data Science
  • Preferred Qualification
  • MBA
  • Minimum Experience Level years' experience strategy development and execution, management consulting experience.
