Description
Checking the daily loads on Vantage and corresponding it with the gatebook. Ensuring that mobile compliance of all drivers is above 98% and Manage and maintain all aspects of Vantage

Ensuring Fleet controllers are transparent regarding movements of trucks. This includes monitoring vehicles after hours sporadically.

Manage and follow up on the Breakdown group to ensure breakdowns are resolved as soon as possible and following up on the recovery of costs as a result of breakdown

Ensure daily that the vehicles are cleaned and maintained to the specification of Meadow Feeds

Assisting fleet controllers and checking updates day and night

Daily production meeting in afternoons regarding loads and delays

Driver's queries

Planning deep cleaning for Washbay

Planning on grease and daily preventative maintenance (non-negotiable) on all 16 vehicles.

Service schedule from Mix and arranging loads accordingly and booking of all trucks due for COF and service

Weekly inspection in the yard (Inspection sheet, brake percentages, tools and condition sheet)

Weekly Meetings with clients

Vehicle damages that happened on the farms to phone the farmer (customer complains)

Late department, Farm incidents, Daily target not made, delays at factory and offloading problems at farms spreadsheet.

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Standerton, Mpumalanga: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • High School (matric) (required)

Experience:

- fleet controller: 3 years (required)


Language:


  • Afrikaans (preferred)
  • English (preferred)
