Description

**Inbound Destination Management Specialist**

We are seeking an experienced Direct Travel Specialist to handle inbound bookings to Southern Africa for our Direct Clients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in reservation experience, specifically in an inbound tour operating environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide calm and professional interaction with suppliers and travel planners via telephone and email.

• Design and plan customized itineraries that meet the needs of our clients.

• Process reservations from quote to finalization, including invoicing and travel documents.

• Proactively sell products and services to ensure the best possible safari experience for our guests.

• Maintain and expand product knowledge through ongoing training sessions.

• Support colleagues during their absences and participate in a rotation-based duty schedule.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of reservation experience in an inbound tour operating environment.

• Strong knowledge of various African destinations, including Tanzania, Kenya, Zanzibar, Zambia, South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Mozambique, Rwanda, Uganda, and Seychelles.

• Proficiency in Tourplan reservations system is an added advantage.

• Excellent communication skills and a good command of the English language.

Note:

This role requires shift work, including working on Saturdays, public holidays, and cell phone duty on a rotation basis.
