RedCat Recruitment is seeking an experienced and trade tested
SENIOR MAINTENANCE FITTER for a well-established concern based in
_Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal.

REQUIREMENTS:

Grade 12.

N4 N6 in Mechanical Engineering.

Trade tested Fitter.

Drivers license / own reliable vehicle.

Previous supervisory experience.

Person will be required to manage a department of equipment and several junior fitters, and repairing and maintaining machines.

Sound knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 standards.

7 -10 years' previous experience within a plant maintenance environment.

Perform diagnostic tasks by carrying out operations relating to testing, inspecting, troubleshooting, and

fault finding, as well as checking, measuring, and recording, etc. to achieve results such as lowering

downtime, minimizing breakdowns, and enhancing plant and equipment availability. mechanical

equipment parts inspections.

Required to work shifts / be on standby when required.
