Description

Acting as an independent business partner, the Compliance Manager will support and advise management and staff, ensuring the business fulfills its duty to comply with outside regulatory and legal requirements, and with internal policies and standards, empowering the business to make ethical and compliant decisions, reinforcing trust from clients, business partners and vendors.


Duties & Responsibilities
Ensure the required compliance program deliverables are implemented and executed in a manner consistent to the standards and requirements, including, but not limited to:

  • Provision of strategic and tactical compliance advice to the company and the Client.
  • Serving as the single point of contact for Client related queries related to ethics, compliance and process issues.
  • Conducting annual Risk Assessments, audits and reviews as appropriate to ensure compliance with the account contractual obligations and internal policy and procedures.
  • Supporting Client / Supplier compliance and risk activity including training and process improvements.
  • Drafting and/or updating appropriate policies to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, industry codes, and relevant global policies. Ensuring applicable policies, account policy & procedure manuals are reviewed and maintained.
  • Delivering communication updates of policy changes and results of reviews to all applicable staff.
  • Preparing and delivering compliance training and education to ensure understanding of employee responsibilities and ethics and compliance issues, as well as related policies and procedures.
  • Training and informing the business on specific local risks as identified through the Risk Assessment.
  • Overseeing investigations, including interviewing internal and external customers across the accelerate business and reaching balanced conclusions through empirical data gathering.
  • Overseeing and actively supporting the Anti-Corruption Monitoring Program.
  • Empowering business leaders and management teams across the territories to promote our values and foster a Speak-Up culture.
  • Other responsibilities may be assigned from time to time at the companys discretion.

Desired Experience & Qualification:


  • Proven track record in managing compliance programs for similarly sized multinational organisations
  • Previous experience in corporate real estate operations will be an advantage

LLB or
Risk management degree with
at least three years post qualification experience in a company position. Postgraduate compliance qualification is an added advantage.

  • Fluency in languages appropriate to target client community.
  • Excellent attention to detail with ability to identify potential risks and concerns.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with the ability to interact effectively with people at all levels of the organization.
  • Selfmotivated with a strong sense of accountability and work ethic.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, manage time effectively and establish priorities to meet deadlines in a fastpaced team environment.
  • Strong project management skills as well as a team player who is sensitive to the needs of the functional business units.
  • Ability to engage with and influence the organization, the client, and key stakeholders and establish a high level of credibility.
  • Willing to work in a fastpaced diverse team environment.
  • Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues; ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations.
  • Lead by example and model behaviours that are consistent with the company''s values.
  • Ability to comprehend, analyse, and interpret business documents.
  • Ability to write reports, polices and manuals, and make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, and senior management.
