Description
CAD Officer position available at Sheet Metal Manufacturing company based in Hermanstad, Pretoria West.

  • Reading of various drawings and ability to convert it into a Solidworks package.
  • Schedule assignments and communicate all details to all individuals in the CAD department.
  • Where applicable the CAD Officer will be required to assist and participate in all Internal Audits.
  • Participate in all Production meetings.
  • Generate complex drawings in Solidworks according to specifications.
  • Do follow up checks on completed drawings.
  • Create Data Packages.
  • Create cutting files.
  • Understand the bending, laser and welding procedures.
  • Use of all measuring tools.
  • Liaison with quality department.
  • Identifying various components with regard to drawings.
  • Make adjustments on drawings as required from other departments.
  • To complete all ad hoc duties as prescribed by Management.
