About Zoë Louw:

I am a professional, process driven individual who is always friendly and welcoming to my customers. I am a logical thinker with a bit of creativity and will persevere until I get it right. I enjoy interaction with people and am a very strong communicator. My goal in life is to be the best version of myself daily.

In 2008 while I was still in high school, I spent most of my holidays assisting at my church in the capacity of secretary / administrator. This included working the switchboard, database updates, typing of documents, presentations and working with petty-cash. Straight after leaving school, I started a BEd degree but did not finish. I do, however, still currently assist teachers with their administration throughout the year.

I completed a contact centre learnership in 2014 with PMI- Human Capital Development and have gained many skills relevant to my current work environment. I was educated in customer service, sales, and business writing. This was an exceptional steppingstone to prepare me for the corporate and institutional world.

I later worked in 2014 as a co-op student in Human Resources (HR) for the Finance and  Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) departments at Woolworths Head Office spending close to 18 months doing HR administrator duties. I have done the interview process end to end and focused mainly on the administration function. I have also played a significant role in the setting up of training interventions for both business departments (GRC and Finance). I completed and checked payroll using PeopleSoft as well as LexisNexis and TransUnion doing reference, educational, and criminal checks. As part of my learning, I was given the opportunity to take minutes for a disciplinary hearing and was thoroughly exposed to the corporate environment and its principles

I am a fast learner and have gained quite a bit of experience working for Woolworths Head Office. I started working as a data-capturer in the Finance department in 2015. This position required strong attention to detail, a quick thinker, interpersonal skills, and the ability to prioritise. Working with both internal and external customers boosted my confidence tremendously and allowed me to assert myself within the Woolworths values.

In 2020, I started my journey as a Patient Administrator (PA) for Morton & Partners. I was the administrational support to the radiology department at Cape Town Mediclinic. This had been an exciting yet challenging experience as I dealt with many high-profile patients. My daily duties included bookings, payments, and telephonic communication. I worked with both patients and doctors as well as liaisons from different medical aids, banks, and international insurances. In August of 2022, I moved to the Morton & Partners Kenilworth Medicross branch where I am currently employed as the sole PA. My duties have not lessened, however, there have been changes as I now assist doctors directly within the practice. I also now make use of the central booking systems department to assists patients with appointments. The systems that I currently work on are Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Radiology Information System (RIS), Xerox, Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) and Iplan.

I am proficient in Microsoft (MS) Office which includes Word, Powerpoint, Excel and Access as well as MS Outlook as most of my workflow comes via e-mail. The core of my job is to ensure that customers have the best experience from start to finish with as little inconvenience as possible. I am a hard worker and am committed to my duties.

I have studied at Northlink College and completed up to N6 in Business Management. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Arts at Varsity College. My current modules are Communication Sciences, English, Sociology and Psychology. This has influenced me to do outreach. I currently volunteer at St Michaels Child and Youth Care Centre (CYCC) as the Head of Human Resources (HR) on their Board of Directors.
