I hold a National Diploma in Journalism, a Diploma in Public Relations, a B-Tech Degree in Journalism, and an Advanced Project Management Certificate. I have extensive experience in all the skills and competencies needed for the job advertised.

I want to emphasize several highlights regarding my career:

• I have excellent editing and writing skills, mastered during my 11 years as a journalist and in the PR and Communications sectors. I have worked for publications including the Daily Dispatch, Sunday Times, the Sowetan and the Daily Sun. 

• I also worked as a Section Editor in South Africa’s best-selling women’s magazine, Move! Magazine. I worked as a Public Relations Manager for Miclngrace Studios, a Hollywood motion picture studio in Johannesburg.  

I am currently working as a Communications Practitioner at North-West University at the Vanderbijlpark Campus. My duties include media liaison, speech writing, events management, campus spokesperson, writing for corporate publications and team leader: faculty liaisons.
