I am a young, multi-faceted, wordsmith, with a passion for copywriting and a lot to prove. If you are looking to work with someone who is committed, results-driven, and desperate to learn and grow in copywriting, you've found her. 

I am endlessly curious, and if there's something I can't do I am not only willing, but excited to learn. I enjoy getting feedback on my work and learning new ways to improve a piece and make it as close as possible to what the client wants. 

All in all, I am a hard worker, a talented writer, and I'm starting from the bottom so if corny old sayings are to be believed, I have nowhere to go but up.

I worked as a freelance copywriter for 7 years, writing and editing copy including but not limited to: articles, blog posts, scripts for video promotions, social media posts, and newsletters.

While I had two different full-time admin jobs during that time, it wasn't until the beginning of 2023 when I decided to begin a full-time media career. I got a job at a lead generation agency as a direct response copywriter. After less than three months of training, I was given the responsibility of producing all the copy written for the agency and its 25+ clients. 

I've also since trained for and worked in automation, social media marketing, project management, and strategy. 

I studied media and cultural studies which looked mostly at global culture and the role played by the media in its creation. We studied journalism, public relations, scriptwriting, the history of mass media, the importance of the discourse used in a certain era and how to use that to inform your writing. I also studied political science which first and foremost is the study of how people interact with and relate to one another. You cannot write in, or for an environment you do not understand. Political science has given me valuable insight into how to reach people of a different background, demographic, and socio-economic class than me. I believe that’s the difference in my writing, it can shape shift to speak to a wide range of audiences about a wide range of topics.
