ZELDA COETZER

I'm a self-driven, well organized and detailed orientated individual. As a qualified professional accountant (SAIPA) (not registered currently), I would like to return to my profession after several years in the education. I've been an educator for Accounting and EMS since 2017. I would like to embrace my career from a different perspective again, delivering a service on a specialty that I enjoy. 

I've been in the mining industry for 3 years as part of the costing department. Moving to private practice to complete my SAICA articles (I've done 3 years articles and 4 years post - articles). After the completion of my articles I've written my professional evaluation examination and qualified as a Professional Accountant. I've been a senior bookkeeper and managed the office for some time, making sure everything run smoothly, overseeing the work of others and training juniors. I would also oversee the daily business when the partner was on leave. Doing all bookkeeping, from cashbooks to financial statements, keeping statutory requirements up to date for clients, laising with the clients and SARS. 

I've decided on a career change and embraced education for 6 years (currently in year 7). I completed my PGCE in 2019 and been teaching accounting for Gr 10 - 12's.

I'm also a netball coach and umpire. The coordinator for cross country.
