About Zanele Tshabalala :

Am currently working as a full-time Front desk receptionist for the past 10 years, it has taught me a lot. We currently liaise with corporate clients, changing of bookings.

 

I am proficient in every aspect of the hotel front desk, from communicating with guests and meeting their needs to overseeing the hotel management software and troubleshooting any technical issues. I believe that a receptionist is an integral part of the wider team and should help wherever they can.


As a Full-time receptionist, I am used to working closely with a wider team, taking on the duties of others when required and always stand in for my manager to assist where I am needed giving my best in any situation. I have filled in for the Manager during her absence in the lounge. And I always make myself available to help both colleagues and guests alike.

I helped to raise the customer services scores in current company, and I have positive feedback from those that i have come in contact within my line of work. I am used to multitasking and typically answer around 200+ calls a day with inquiries and request of quotations, but if there is a guest standing in front of me, they have my absolute priority. Great service begins when you offer someone your unreserved attention.


I would be looking for a permanent role in hospitality, because that's what I have studied for. and have passion for, I also have a diploma in Travel and Tourism management I would be grateful if i was given the opportunity mentioned in the job ad. I would be delighted to have the opportunity of visiting your hotel for an interview to discuss the possibilities.

Experience

Customer service orientated, General front desk duties, dealing with calls, passenger complaint. We also liaise with corporate personnel. Implementing and maintaining the company's standards within the front desk department. Following up on guests' requests that have been handed to the front desk, also settling all administrative jobs as per company's directives being at the company for the past 10 years, its my passion to deal with customer interaction to make sure their trip is always effortless and an experience to remember.
