I have recently obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Risk management from the University of South Africa. I also hold a BA law degree and a LLB degree obtained from the University of Pretoria. Completed the school for Legal Practice as well as the Attorney’s Admission exams. Also completed the Regulatory Exams, RE 1 and RE 5. 

I am currently employed as a compliance assistant for an insurance company, started this position in October 2020. My duties in this position entail handling of complaints received directly from clients and also via the Regulatory bodies being, the Ombudsman for Short Term Insurance and the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Ombudsman. Amongst others I also ensure that the representative appointed under the FSP licence are fit and proper, conduct monthly monitoring, sanction checks of foreign national clients.

I am a suitable candidate for the position because I possess the required qualifications, skills and experience for the position. I have been exposed to the working environment for over 5 years and I believe my work experience will make me a valuable member of your team. I am a hard worker who works well in a team and individually.

I have experience in compliance and complaints handling.
