A dependable and accountable Debtors Clerk who is able to work on a large case load of outstanding debts. I can interact with borrowers in the negotiation of defaulted or delinquent debts whilst at the same time adhering to all collection industry regulations. I am good at managing time effectively and negotiating mutually beneficial arrangements with customers. As a true professional I always use sound judgment in the execution of my duties. When talking to debtors I am polite as well as courteous and I go out of my way to build a rapport with them to resolve any potential conflict. Right now I am looking for a suitable position with a reputable company that rewards hard working people who get results. 

I hold 10 years’ experience of collections background knowledge and in the last 5 years I have been working as a Student Accounts Administrator in a collection department of a major Highly recognised and reputable institution Mancosa College. My current role is to perform monthly currently revaluation, oversee weekly payment runs and also ensure payment approvals are obtained and instalments are made. All of these tasks require me to pay attention to detail and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. I have to handle a book value of more than +- 25 million rands, ,where I have a monthly target of 5million rands; of which its seemed impossible at first, but then I was able to use my negotiation skills; persistence including my winning attitude target came achievable.     

I have achieved collection milestones over the years, through collecting outstanding debt from accounts in a professional manner and in accordance with a company’s policies, procedures and targets. I am a confident Debtors Clerk, who is self-disciplined, motivated, able to plan and organise myself accordingly. In addition, I possess good communication skills and time management skills that allows me to promotes customer goodwill at every opportunity and I was honoured that last year I was given an opportunity to be the team representative in my department.
