My Name is Zamantungwa Zikhali, I did my undergraduate BSc degree in Biochemistry and Genetics and Honours in Genetics at UKZN where I did my research in Genomics.

I am resilient, tenacious and dedicated to learning and gaining experience in your company. 

I have the basic biochemistry and molecular laboratory techniques such as: -Protein precipitation, DNA Isolation, ELISA -Electrophoresis (Agarose gel electrophoresis, PAGE, SDS-PAGE), Spectrophotometry, Micro pipetting, Chromatography (Gel filtration chromatography, Ion exchange chromatography, Hydrophobic chromatography, thin layer chromatography, etc.), Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR, qPCR), Primer design.

I have experience in using Bioinformatic software such as NCBI nucleotide, NCBI protein and NCBI BLAST, as well as Primer3 and Predict7, Plink and RStudio. I have an International Computer driving license (Computer essentials, Word processing, Online essentials, and Spreadsheets Microsoft office 2010 Windows 10) and skills in Bioinformatics analysis and Python notebook analysis.
