am a professional accountant with three years of auditing experience in financial, operational, and compliance audits. I've worked in both the public and private sectors as an auditor. Covering supply chain management, Public Finance Management Act compliance, and assessing policies, procedures, and controls. I've worked as a senior auditor, overseeing audits of both public and private firms, both listed and not listed on the JSE. I am knowledgeable in CaseWare, Teammate, Microsoft Teams, IFRS for SMEs, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint presentations, and Word.

 Conducted financial audits for major corporations such as MTN Group, Telkom SOC (both JSE listed) and Transnet SOC.

 Conducted non-financial audits (Agreed – upon procedures) using ISRS 4400 (Revised) to confirm that established procedures and policies for executive management remuneration were followed. 

 Conducted review engagements (ISRE 2400).

 Conducted audits for small, medium, and large clients in industries ranging from telecommunications to information and communication technology to healthcare, manufacturing, ports, and non-profit organizations.

 Supervised and led an audit team that performed group audits for firms with billions of revenues and assets.

 Responsible for risk management and compliance within the audit team. Assuring that audit work follows audit firm methodology. 

 Responsible for training and inducting new audit staff members, ensuring that they understand the client's needs and are familiar with the accounting and auditing standards applicable to the audit. 

 Participating in risk assessment processes, developing audit strategies and plans, and executing out high audit areas. 

 Ensure that all audit team members adhere to the quality standards outlined in the firm's quality policy. 

 Assisting audit team members in avoiding repeat findings identified by the External Quality Control Reviewer and the IRBA reviewer. 

 Reviewing the work done by junior audit team members. 

 Communicate with and inform audit managers on audit progress and major concerns that require management attention.

I completed my Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting (CTA) in 2019 and passed Initial Test of Competence in 2020, and I am presently awaiting the results of the APC SAICA board 2 exam.
