An individual invested in the success of an operation I am in charge of and dedicated to achieving this in an efficient manner. To ensure this, I work closely with my team and collaborate with other departments for flow of information and real-time updates to the business for planning purposes. 

It is important to me to safeguard business continuity by building a department or team dependent on processes and policies, rather than tied to individuals. This has helped me achieve quicker turnaround times in resolving issues, providing information to other departments of authorities, and archiving any material that provides the business a guide to best practices and methods of improving operations. 

My career spans over 10 years in Logistics, with the last 4 years being in Management or Leadership capacity. In the 10 years I have worked in Telecommunications, Construction, Luxury Goods, and finance related international companies of Asian and European origin. This has exposed me to best practices from major trading regions of the world and I have used this experience to build efficient operations that have succeed in achieving high customer satisfaction, reduced operating costs, and business continuity. 

I have also been fortunate to work closely with freight forwarders to ensure compliance with authorities for both imports and exports cargo. It is always important to ensure that the movement of cargo in and out of South Africa is not restricted from being delivered or collected due non-compliance with regulatory bodies, authorities, and customs. And I have built an understanding and network that enables me to achieve this requirement. 

I studied in Logistics Management and completing my Bcom Logistics Management degree from the University of Johannesburg in November 2023.
