Passionate Horticulturist looking to further my career

I am applying for the position of Horticulturist now available at your centre and having a wide range of skills built up over 24 years in the industry, I am the perfect applicant for this job.

I have a National Diploma in Horticulture (UK: RQF level 4) and was Best Horticulture Student 1993-1995 and the Overall Best Student Horticulture Department 1993-1995. My passion has always been plants, since a very young age. 

Currently I am managing my own Sole Proprietorship – William’s Horticultural Services, including the running of my own nursery. This entails designing of landscaping plans, from the drawings to installation as per design and client’s needs. I do the occasional garden clean-up and specialist Tree Surgery for selected clients and businesses. I am an Irrigation specialist, and design and install domestic and corporate irrigation systems. I also do services and repairs to existing systems, which local garden service companies call me in for. I am also the exclusive irrigation technician for some of the elite estates and complexes in Langebaan and 3 surrounding towns. I am also the appointed West Coast (Langebaan and surrounds) Dealer, supplier and installer of Easi-Grass Cape Town, South Africa. (Easi-Grass International, a UK based company)

I worked in the UK from 1996-1999, for Tropical Plants Display LTD and then Jardinerie Interiors PLC

I am self-motivated, hardworking and I have a real desire to use my skills and experience to help make the world a better, safer place to live in. I know that I am ready to take on the responsibility of this position and that I can be a great asset to your organization. 

I also did my (I-to-I United Kingdom) TEFL 140-hour Course, 120-hour On-Line course and my 20-hour Week-end Training course. Teaching is also one of my passions.
