3.       Company : Electron Technologies (Pty) Ltd 

Position : Commissioning Technician

Duration : March 2022 – August 2022

Duties : 

•            Building and manufacturing electrical panels for pump stations 

•            Build electrical systems

•            Maintenance and repairs on electrical panels and pumps. 

•            Repairs and upgrades existing panels and pump stations while maintaining service. 

•            Perform field-testing of panels and commissioning of pump stations. 

•            Co-ordinate the activities of site staff efficiently and cost effectively.

•            Ensure all test equipment is calibrated before use.

•            All site commissioning function including the completion of a certificate of compliance Recording

•            Control and maintenance of all necessary documentation, e.g. test reports, QCP's Punch list panels and installations for defects.

•            Co-ordinate and plan all commissioning functions with the Branch Manager/Contract Manager. 

•            Maintain a safe and effective administration and working environment in workshop and on site.

•            Testing within workshop and completion of relevant ISO documentation if available.

•            Record in red and check modifications to electrical drawings for as-built documentation.

•            Ensure all the necessary safety measures are in place before applying power to apparatus reject installation of poor workmanship and defects.

•            Issuing of NCR's for all SHEQ related issues.

•            Ensure work complies with the  ISO 9001:2005 QMS (construction policies and controls).

•            Ensure all instruments calibrated on time.
