I currently completed My Matric, A+ and N+. I am specializing in IT Technicians.

I am young man of 30 years of age; I’m very calm and patient. I love to work with the people and I’m always trying to make the people happy if they got a problem, I try to solve their problems. I’m very punctual when I comes to my work, I’m always double check everything, and complete task on time, take my job seriously I’m a hard worker and I can work under pressure and strong interpersonal and communication skills.

I like to communicate with the people. I’m improving to be trustfully and efficient. To utilize my technical skills and provide a professional service to customers by applying and honing my knowledge and working in a challenging and motivating working environment.

My Daily duties:

• Hardware troubleshooting.
• Software Installations.
• Remote support and onsite support.
• Hardware installation.
• Provide 1st Line Support.
• Understanding User requirements Desktop / Laptop setup.
• Printing/Scanning support (IP Printing, shared network printing, local printers).
• Virus and Malware detection, prevention.
• Office 365 Setup and configuration beneficial with good understanding of Microsoft products.
• Update internal systems with all work carried out and backups.
• Reassembling of PC Hardware Components (CPU, HDD/SSD, Rams, Optimal Drive, System Fan, Power Supply, Video Cards), Setup BIOS and installing OS.

I have worked as an IT Support Technician Assistant at Dis-Chem pharmacies where I was assisting the Technician with his work due to, I was not having the qualified papers. I gained more experience and skills of how job is being done on the field until I got papers and be on the field myself. Currently am working as a IT Junior Technicians at Stowe Holding, where am being given the responsibility for providing beneficial technical support to client server.

Things i have learned at school:

• Install, configure, and maintain computer equipment, mobile devices and software for end users.
• Service components based on customer requirements to resolve problems.
• Understand networking basics and apply basic cybersecurity methods to mitigate security risks.
• Properly and safely diagnose, resolve, and document common hardware and software issues.
• Apply troubleshooting skills and provide customer support using appropriate communication skills.
• Understand the basics of scripting, cloud technologies, virtualization, and multi-OS deployments in corporate environments.

• Configure, manage, and maintain essential network devices
• Use devices such as switches and routers to segment network traffic and create resilient networks
• Identify benefits and drawbacks of existing network configurations
• Implement network security, standards and protocols
• Troubleshoot network problems
