Victor Nene
Healthcare
About Victor Nene:
I am an experienced senior programme manager with over 15 years’ leadership in the UK health and care system, specialising in operational resilience, transformation, and system-wide service improvement. My career has spanned integrated care systems (ICS), NHS trusts, and commissioning bodies, where I have led high-impact programmes across urgent and elective care, digital transformation, discharge optimisation, and performance governance.
I have a strong track record in designing and embedding operational frameworks that improve continuity, reduce risk, and enhance system resilience—particularly during periods of acute pressure or critical incident. With qualifications in PRINCE2 and Lean Six Sigma, and currently completing the Rosalind Franklin Leadership Programme, I bring a structured yet adaptive approach to strategic delivery.
My strengths lie in leading multi-agency teams, managing complex stakeholder landscapes, and using data and policy insight to drive measurable outcomes. I am confident operating in politically sensitive environments and thrive in roles requiring cross-sector collaboration and delivery at scale.
Originally from South Africa, I am now actively exploring opportunities to return and contribute to system transformation, public sector innovation, or healthcare improvement within the South African context—bringing with me a deep commitment to equity, efficiency, and service excellence.
