I am extremely interested in everything to do with tech, investments, trading, and financial markets, as there is never a dull moment in learning about how to make, save and grow money, as well as the advancement of tech.

I have familiarized myself with exciting accounting software like Xero, Vend, Hubdoc, Swift CSV, G Suite, Payfast, Yoko, and Spotlight Reporting. Through my experience using this software, I have also enjoyed learning about the technological side that enables this software to perform its tasks successfully.

DUTIES

• Daily use of Xero (Accounting software), Vend (POS software), and Monday.com (project management software).
• Preparation of monthly management accounts. 
• Reconciliation of monthly financial accounts and the maintenance of accurate account balances, ensuring compliance with accounting practices.
• Assistance with the production of the annual reports and filing of the annual return with CIPC.
• Registering different SME’s with CIPC.
• Monitoring and review invoices, bills, rental contracts, financial statements.
• Submitting monthly VAT returns on SARS E-Filling. 
• Draft and map annual financial statements.
