I confirm that I am an admitted attorney with over 20 years of in-house legal expertise as a general legal counsel. My knowledge and experience is diverse and includes banking, financial services, private equity investments, funding,insurance, litigation, marketing and advertising ,ICT , agriculture, retail, commercial property development and construction, engineering, media, entertainment, healthcare, conducting legal due diligence exercises for mergers and acquisitions, providing legal opinions on various matters, legal risk considerations, compliance with the regulatory universe,  IP protection and follow up, proffering legal advice, investigating relevant statutes and recent case law in devising suitable solutions. I also oversee the compliance universe advising of new and amended legislating and effectuating changes in accordance therewith.

Part of my skills set is the ability to negotiate and conclude Service Level Agreements in any industry ,conduct due diligence exercises and legal research, draft employment agreements , provide transactional advice,  negotiate any industry commercial agreement, draft any legal contract required for the business, draft equity and loan facility agreements including security, instructing outside counsel for labour issues and litigation matters, marketing and branding including IP protection, NDA'S and joint venture agreements including producing RFP's and RFQ's for tendering purposes, data protection legislation and POPI.

My relevant education includes my LLB degree which incorporated insurance law, mercantile law commercial and contract law and dispute resolution. I attended various courses updating knowledge on contract law, intellectual property, governance including King IV and compliance with the regulatory universe including POPI.
