I have been in Sales and Retail for a little over 14 years. I 
started as a Sale consultant at Makro and later became Department Manager at Builders 
Express (Paint counter), I then was approached by Bordax Retail Services for a Sales Rep 
position focus been Massmart stores. I am young and vibrant willing to learn and a team 
player. I managed 16 pupils which were my sales consultants and Merchandisers in all the 
Massbuild stores across the Western Cape. I was tasked with handling numerous accounts, 
such as Dulux; Eurolux, TAL, Trimtech, Peromseal & Stanley Black & Decker among others, 
totalling 14 accounts. I was involved in conducting deals with the store managers, driving 
Sales, marketing and merchandising.

I now am working at Stanley Black & Decker as a Sales Rep for the Gauteng Region which 
stretches out to neighbouring provinces such as Mpumalanga, Limpopo, Polokwane, KZN 
and parts of EC. I have worked closely with my managers in this position as I started out 
under marketing and now working under commercial Sales, I must say I have learnt a lot and 
wish to grow as a person soon. Yes, I have a little over 6 years as a Sales Rep. I believe that 
in order to grow and to be successful one must never be comfortable, in order to grow you 
must always push yourself to the limit and when reached push even more. so now that time 
has come, and one wishes to get the opportunity.
This position will enable me to use the abilities and knowledge that I have gathered over the 
years. Planning, strategic thinking, attention to detail and crisis management are just some 
of the things that I have learnt over the years and believe that it is a huge part of the career 
that one is choosing, not forgetting Teamwork. Professionalism, innovative thinking and 
been pro- active is who I am.
