About tshephiso mogashoa:
My name is Tshephiso Mogashoa, a 27-year-old female from Tsakane, who recently completed a course in pharmacist assistant basic at Health Science Academy and currently volunteering at the East Rand Regional Pharmacy as a learner basic post pharmacist assistant.
I hold an N6 certificate in marketing management and for my work integrated learning, I was placed at the National Pharmacy Agency doing sales and marketing for the company at Dischem. My daily duties included ordering medication and cosmetics products, merchandising, and running promotions for Adcock, Bemax, Salex, and Sunpack. This required adequate knowledge of Microsoft Office and sales and marketing skills. I had eager to grow as an individual, so I enrolled in the pharmacist assistant course where I learned more about receiving, dispensing, issuing and handling medication. I later got a 3 months contract at EPWP JOZI IHLOMILE as a health educator where I did door to door education on HIV/aids, tuberculosis and social services, referring people to relevant places of help. I work well with people as much as I can work as an individual and pay attention to details with good interpersonal communication skills and excellent customer service.
I am accustomed to working in a high-pressure environment where accuracy and attention to detail are essential as I have worked in retail for 3 years and now works with people’s lives. I also possess a high degree of professionalism, maturity, loyalty, confidentiality, and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. I always aim to go above and beyond my set duties. I pride myself on my ability to be a fast learner, deal with pressure and multitask with a flexible attitude.
