  • Managed the Durban office which comprised of 5 staff, 6 drivers and 1 carwash tech. Managed the Ladysmith office which comprised of 2 staff and 4 drivers.
  • Responsible for 825 vehicles on hire to different customers in 2015. A mix of Isuzu KB's, Chev utility, Nissan NP200, Nissan NP300, Ford Figos and Ford Rangers.
  • Responsible for the entire Eastern region that is Durban and surrounding areas up to Howick, north coast until Stanger, south coast up to Flagstaff and the Ladysmith and surrounding areas.

  • Yearly saving on budget from 2008 to 2011.
  • Promoted to Area Manager in 2007. Presentation to management included how one can reduce operating expenses by two million going forward. This was achieved by reducing the rent, cutting driver supervisor and driver numbers, telephone management by introducing codes, cutting stationery costs, reducing garden service, reducing relief pool vehicles and general kitchen expenses.
  • Yearly saving on budget from 2002 to 2008
  • Completed all panel beating repairs for 2002,2003,2004,2005 in 2006 when the Insurance department was pressured to close all accident files opened in the 4 years.

My working career has spanned over 28 years and I believe that my strong extensive experience for the past 18 years in warehousing, logistics, transport and administration makes me an appropriate candidate for the advertised position. I strongly believe I can perform well, all the delegated duties and tasks associated with the new position. I have all round experience and knowledge in the warehousing, transport, logistics and administration operations environment. I have advanced SAP, Sage, MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint working application experience. I have assisted with the complete process of recruitment and hiring of staff at Bidvest, Mercedes and Key Hire. I have also been on the Health and Safety committee to ensure the business complies with all health and safety regulations. I am confident to say that I will be a positive addition to any business and will thrive with any new challenges and changes. I am also willing to learn new operations, processes and systems.
