I am a Junior Mine Planner with demonstrated 2 years' experience in coal mining mainly at the Witbank coalfield. His experience includes mine design, sequencing and scheduling, dump design, dump scheduling, plan adjustment according to geological deviations. And 1year of experience in Mining and Geology graduate program, his experience ranges from geological coal exploration (logging, sampling and interpretation) pit mapping and quality assurance and quality control, production supervision, weekly planning, production reports and 1year 6months of environmental experience including Environmental assessment, Environmental control officer, geotechnical engineering and air quality controller.

Mine Planning Officer 

As the Junior Mine Planning Engineer, key elements of responsible:-

•  is to ensure an accurate planning design is in accordance with The Mine, Health and Safety Act and the mine’s regulations, 
• Scheduling of Short, Medium and Long
• And is within the budget that directs the production activities to achieve short term targets. 
• Mine design, sequencing and scheduling as well as dump design, dump sequencing and scheduling. 
• Haul Route determination and optimization. 
• Adjustment of the designed plans according to geological deviations and ensure that accurate redesigns are within the set budget limits to comply with the long-term plan (including the positioning of road - electrical and water). 
• Designing of a practical pit to pit shell for scheduling purposes to adhere to long, medium and short-term production purposes and that the planning design is interpreted by the production clients and the end result reflects the plan in terms o  tonnages, quality, rehabilitation and safety to comply with regulations. 
• Compiling daily production report  
• Compiling monthly report of completed activities. 
• Encouraging and following safe work practices

1. Liaising with client, Contract Manager and the Competent Authority throughout the construction and rehabilitation phases of the project.  
2. Assisting the Contract Manager and Principal Contractor in ensuring all the necessary Environmental authorization and permits have been obtained and confirming that the activities on the site comply with legislation.  
3. Prepare an environmental sang-list and close out report after the construction and rehabilitation phases has been completed.
