I'm Quality Tester at Corteva Agriscience, I play a vital role in ensuring the quality and compliance of seed lots for the global leader in the agricultural industry. I follow the International Seed Testing Association (ISTA) regulations and policies, and perform seed sampling, defect testing, and calibration, using various equipment and technologies. I also assist the lab with sample preparations and retention, as well as conduct receiving and dispatching activities.

I am pursuing a Higher Certificate in Life and Environmental Sciences from the University of South Africa, where I am learning the biological and ecological concepts and principles that underpin the agricultural sector. I also have two National Certificates in Electrical Engineering from FLAVIUS MAREKA TVET COLLEGE and MOTHEO TVET COLLEGE, where I acquired the fundamentals of electrical circuits, devices, and systems. My education background has enhanced my skills in communication, computer literacy, teamwork, and problem-solving. I am passionate about innovation and excellence in the agricultural field, and I am always eager to learn more and grow personally and professionally.

Sampling of seed lots (Processed/Treated and Unprocessed).Defect Determination on seed received and conditioned seed. Conduct receiving activities in accordance with applicable standards, Procedures, Work instructions and Policies. Perform screen analysis and internal calibration on grading and moisture equipment. Ensure testing protocols are applied according to ISTA Regulations and policies. Assist the LAB with preparations of submitted samples and Ensure retention samples are retained as per product shelf life and that they are readily accessible in the event of Customer complaint. Ensure housekeeping is done accordingly " 5 S " Standards
