My bachelor's degree in industrial engineering and one year of experience maintaining and increasing the efficiency of manufacturing processes at Parkhome modular units make me as an excellent choice for your company. As an Industrial Engineer, I have very good knowledge in physics, mathematics, engineering concepts, and industrial processes. My professional experience includes controlling and maintaining the various moving parts used in production at Parkhome modular units, which involved utilizing my wide range of mechanical aptitude.  • Earned Bachelor of Engineering Technology degree in Industrial Engineering from University of Johannesburg(2020)

 • Earned Bachelor of Engineering Technology Honours degree in Industrial Engineering from University of Johannesburg(2021). Though I do not physically have my qualification as of yet due to the fact that I still owe the institution money for duration of course though I plan to complete payment by end of March 2022 

• Developed and Implemented production SOP 

• Conducted periodical time and motion studies to analyse productivity 

• Crafted production reports and presented findings to decision makers 

• Diagnosed and addressed the root cause of increased costing of modular units in production through analysis of Bill of Materials used for production 

• Improve tracking and accuracy of materials in warehouse In addition to these qualifications, I believe that my intense attention to detail and good time management abilities set me apart from other candidates. WORK EXPERIENCE  Industrial Engineer Intern(Parkhome Modular Units)  Duration: 02/2021-01/2022 Selected Contributions:

 • Assistant warehouse supervisor and implementing 5S principles in the storehouse which resulted in expansion of storehouse space by optimising material storage  

• Helping warehouse supervisor in preparing for stock takes  

• Ensuring all stock items have correct Stock codes for Procurement  

• Supervision of tools for production and proposing changes for tool register to help keep track of usage of tools.  

• Applied Lean manufacturing principles on shopfloor to increase productivity, reduce waste and Cost in Modular unit production  

• Reducing discrepancy and optimising Bill of Material(BOM) of product which help reduce product cost and to properly track the usage of materials in stock     

• Ensuring that production Standard Operational Procedures(SOP) are up to date for all production  operations and define the process flow of operations in Production, Procurement and Logistics departments 

Qualification Obtained:  

• BEng Tech in Industrial Engineering(2020)  

• BEng TechHons in Industrial Engineering(2021) Awaiting to fully pay fees to receive qualification. Expected date: 04/04/2022
