THUTO OMPHILE KGOSI

I am Thuto Kgosi a young professional health and Safety Officer that is enthusiastic, self-motivated, reliable, responsible and hard working person. I am a matured team worker and adaptable to any challenging situations. I am able to work both in a team environment as well as using my own initiative. I strive to learn more and expand my knowledge in the Health, Safety and Environmental space to advance my skills and to add value to industry. 

I am a professionally qualified Health and Safety Officer over 4 years experience in construction in the mining industry. I have been involved in over 12 projects in the mining construction space mainly been responsible for the health and Safety of projects valued over R 8 million. I'm highly capacitated in all legal compliance, risk assessment, safety files complying, hazard identification, incident investigation,site safety meetings and monthly reports to managers/clients. 

I hold a SAMTRAC certificate from NOSA College, legal Liability certificate from MMTI , currently Completing my final year of my Diploma in Safety Management with the Vaal University of Technology (part time).

I intend on studying a short learning programme in environmental management with University of Pretoria in 2023.
